We had the Cupcake party of the century...
So to mark what has been a year of miracles we went all out. We had tons of food, 4 cakes (each baby had a smash cake and than we had a real cake in honor of each baby), a huge waterslide, pinata, and 50+ guests made up of dear friends and our big families. Everyone had a blast (especially little Harmon who we had to drag off that slide kicking and screaming twice) but more importantly it was a celebration. When last year was filled with sadness and fear on this day; this year we rejoiced! We celebrated 2 wonderful babies who are our miracles and complete our family perfectly :)

I love reading about your family! God bless!! I see you have another blog? Is that public also? My daughter is the same age as Harmon and my youngest daughter is 8 months so I can relate to a lot of what you say. What miracles your little ones are!! Inspirational!
ReplyDeleteawww! happy birthday to those beautiful babies. they are miracles for sure!
ReplyDeleteThank you both! Renee, the blog is public. It is just a photo blog. I never have time to scrap book and so it is the best a busy mom can muster these days. You are welcome to look at it anytime. If you love curly blonde hair and twins it is a good place for a smile ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, you did go all out. But they are so worth it. And I think you would have had to drag me off the slide kicking and screaming as well. So much fun!
