In other funny news tonight I realized we look at Real Estate WAYYYY too much. B/c of the family business we often drive through communities at night scoping out everyone (another sad sign that we need real hobbies). It isn't a large town and tonight we passed by a community that we scope out often. Every time we pass Chris always goes in a scary voice "VELOZ" the name of a competitor. Well tonight before Chris even said anything Harmon (who according to Early Intervention has less than 50 words) shouts "VELOZ"! I guess our next goals will be to teach him key terms such as "Target Consumer Group" and bigger competitors like "DR Horton". At this rate Harm might be a Super-Intendent for us by age 12 ;)
Have no shame, my friend. If you enjoy it and it gets you out of the house, eat. it. up.
ReplyDeleteFor date night Jeffrey and I often got to R.C. Willey and just walk through and dream. (that is a home furnishing store). Then we stop at Krispy Kreme for a free donut. Mundane compared to Las Vegas? Maybe. But you all are happy, so get what you can.
As for Harmon, good job! One of Keith's first big words was "contraband." I still laugh about that one! Something about weird words that little ones pick up, hu?
You are so funny. Rather than say you need a new life, you can just admit that your perspectives have changed. Now to be entertained Lowes does the job. Or looking at houses is a great hobby. That's not to say you don't enjoy the Vegas lifestyle or things to do their. You just have three beautiful children that are the centers of your lives now. (as they should be). And there is nothing sad or wrong with that. Embrace the change. Ha ha. We actually love looking at houses. Since we like home improvement. We can often be caught at Lowes or HD (Home Depot). Glad you found some entertainment. Give though kids a big hug from their Tia.
